This volume contains descriptions and illustrations of around 600 coins produced by Roman provincial mints from Augustus to Diocletian kept in the collections of the university library in Leipzig, Germany. The majority of coins were minted in Egypt and the Levant. German text. 120p, illus (Hirmer 2008)

German info text: Der Verfasser beschreibt im 2. Band der SNG Sammlung der Universitätsbibliothek Leipzig die dort aufbewahrten gut 600 Lokalmünzen der Römischen Kaiserzeit von Augustus (27 v. Chr. - 14 n. Chr.) bis Diokletian (um 300 n. Chr.). Schwerpunkte der Sammlung liegen dabei in der Levante und in Ägypten. Einige Incerti und 35 Fälschungen des 19. Jahrhunderts sind angehängt, alle Stücke sind abgebildet. Der zweite Teil enthält rund 230 Nachträge und Berichtigungen zum 1. Band aus dem Jahr 1993 (Neuerwerbungen etc. aus archaischer, klassischer und hellenistischer Zeit bis Kaiser Augustus). Auch hier werden Incerti und Fälschungen beschrieben sowie alle erwähnten Stücke gezeigt.
