Reprinted, edited and annotated by David Cervin. Rockville  Center 1978, supplemented 2000. The original (and solitary) work on early dated coinage prior to this book. Sorely  out-of-date, despite its updates and with numerous errors unbecoming a major work. Most legends are not provided. Excellent dictionary of numismatic names  and terms, much more thorough than his other work. The reprint contains a very useful five-language guide as well.
