DRUSILLA. - The appellation of this woman is thus read, unaccompanied by the title of Augusta, on a large brass of Caligula, in association with the names of her two sisters, AGRIPPINA and IVLIA, both objects, with herself, of that tyrant's incestuous love. Julia Drusilla, the daughter of Agrippina senior and of Germanicus, was born 768 (A.D. 15), at Treves; married by Tiberius to L. Cassius Longinus, grandson of Cassius, and taken from her hausband by her own execrable brother to cohabit with him. Drusilla died A.D. 38.
