NOT IN RIC

UNLISTED OBVERSE LEGEND. RIC lists for this issue only legends IVL CRISPVS NOB CAES or CRISPVS NOB CAES. However, there are many irregular Crispus' coins minted in Trier with 'fancy' legends (i.e. CRISPVS N C • COS II or CRISPVS NONIL (sic) C; see p. 192). Coin should be listed after TRIER 322 or rather among other Crispus' coins with irregular obverse on p. 192. It could be also an unofficial issue.

NOTES

Coin sold on eBay in April 2005 for $3.21.
