Mint and Date: Tabaristan mint, Post Yazdgard Era 137 (after June 788 CE)
Size and Weight: 22mm x 24mm, 1.94g
Obverse: Crowned bust right, with head replaced by a lozenge containing the Arabic word bakh, meaning "good" or "excellent."
Reverse: Fire altar with stars on either side of the flame. Stylised columns each side, where attendants would be expected.
