Mint and Date: Alexandria, 90-91 CE.
Size and Weight: 18mm, 3.2g
Obverse: (AVT) KAIΣAP ΔOMITIAN(OΣ) ΓEPM
Laureate head right.
Reverse: Uraeus with Demeter head, right (RPC) or Isis-Thermouthis right (Cologne catalogue).
Field Marks: L I in right field (Regnal year 10)

Note 1: The reverse type has two possible interpretations, shown above. The bulge at the breast suggests that a third, male, possibility, Agathodaemon with the head of Serapis, is incorrect.

Note 2: This photo shows the coin as I received it, with artificial patination that looks quite good - rather better than the more plain bronze surface I exposed when I removed it.

Note 3: A coin of this size would be an obol by Milne's reckoning and a hemiobol according to Sear.
