D N CONSTA - NS P F AVG Reverse: Helmeted soldier, spear in left hand, advancing right, head left; with his right hand he leads a small bare-headed figure from a hut beneath a tree. | Note: This coin arrived covered in rather muddy brown paint apparently designed to make it appear to have a good patina; click here to see it. Cleaning with white spirit and brush revealed that the coin had been stripped almost completely to the metal before painting. I have also received other coins in this state; see here and here. | |
