LICINIUS II (Valerius Licinianus Licinius)
- Valerius Licinianus Licinius was the son of Licinius I and Constantia, half sister of Constantine. He was born in 316.
- The wars between Licinius senior and Constantine resulted in a treaty, which was signed at Serdica on 1st March 317. Constantine's sons Crispus and Flavius Claudius Constantinus (Constantine II)were proclaimed Caesars, as was Licinius junior.
- War broke out agin in 324, resulting in Licinius and his co-emperor, Martinianus surrendering at Nicomedia on condition their lives were spared. They were, but not for long. In 325, Licinius senior and the 9 year old Licinius junior were both killed.
