suppressing the plot of Perennis, which had been revealed to Commodus
during the festival of Jupiter Capitolinus. IOM expands to Iovi Optime
Maxime. Legend = to Jupiter, the best of the greatest, sponsoring the security
of the emperor.

Obverse: L AEL AUREL COMM AUG P FEL. Commoduswith laureate
head right.

Reverse: I O M SPONSOR SEC AUG. Jupiter standing left, holding
thunderbolt and resting a hand on the shoulder of Commodus, who stands
half-left and holds a globe and scepter.
